What is a blog?
Blog, or its longer alternative, “Weblog”, can best be described as an online diary or journal. More definition of blog can be found here.
The use of computers and the Internet ensures this is a dynamic, quick and interactive way to present information to the readers. It is different to the traditional paper based alternatives as it is possible to direct readers towards previous blog entries and reference other external websites. A wealth of information is present on the Internet and is available to all of us by linking to it.
Why is Freuchie Cricket Club blogging?
Freuchie Cricket Club will be using the blog as part of our bigger project to deliver improved services to our members, fans and the wider cricket community. The nature of blogging allows us to improve the information flow to everyone who is interested in Freuchie Cricket Club and the game in general.
